RSA-PSS

RSA-PSS is a signature scheme based on the RSA cryptosystem and provides increased security assurance. It was added in version 2.1 of PKCS #1^[1].

PSS refers to Probabilistic Signature Scheme by Mihir Bellare and Phillip Rogaway on which RSA-PSS is based.

Design

RSA-PSS is based on the PSS design with the e-th power function . The exponent e is a parameter of the scheme and is an input of the key generation
