MDC-2

From CryptoDox, The Online Encyclopedia on Cryptography and Information Security

MDC2 (Modification Detection Code) is a cryptographic hash function with a 128-bit hash value. This algorithm has been patented by IBM. The U.S. Patent 4,908,861, expires on August 28, 2007. MDC2 generates 128-bit hashes.
